This guide will show you how to use miracle box / thunder to fix null IMEI / write IMEI to your mediatek device.Requirements
- Download latest miracle box / thunder
- Install Vcom preloader drivers on the PC
- Ensure your phone has a valid Baseband (Settings > About > Baseband). Reflash the firmware if it's unknown
Steps to write IMEI onto mediatek device (MTK) using Miracle Box
Follow the steps below to write IMEI to a mediatek device using Miracle box
- Launch Miracle box
- On Miracle box interface, press Control + M to enable IMEI
- Tick the check box beside IMEI(switched off)
- Tick the check box beside NEW(BT)
- Leave the phone's chipset type as 4th Boot(Auto Connect)
- Input the original IMEI into the IMEI boxes
- Click Start
- You should now see >>> Waiting for USB Port... At this point, switch off the phone then connect it to the PC via USB cord without holding any buttons
- The phone should get detected and IMEI writing should begin
- Once the process is complete, you should see 'IMEI OK'
Important Notice
- Best to use latest version of miracle (usually miracle thunder) as it supports more chipsets than older versions
- Miracle Box requires a hardware box / dongle to work. Merely installing the setup and trying to run the tool (without having connected the hardware to the PC) won't work unless you are using a loader version
- Using the loader version might trigger an antivirus warning. While this might be a false positive, you are entirely responsible for allowing the loader to run on your PC
- If this method fails to work for whatever reason then you can always use the other methods
