Hey guys, in this video, we're playing the Sonic The Hedgehog 2006 PC Remake! This is basically a fan recreation/port/remaster of Sonic 06 on PC using Unity.

In November 2019, we informed you about a demo for the upcoming Sonic fan game, Project ’06. Project ’06 aims to remake Sonic the Hedgehog (from 2006) in Unity Engine. And today, we are happy to report that a brand new free demo is available for download.

According to its creator, this new demo contains the stages Wave Ocean, Dusty Desert, White Acropolis, Crisis City, Flame Core, Radical Train, Tropical Jungle, Kingdom Valley, Aquatic Base & Tails’ Wave Ocean.

Sonic 2006 originally came out exclusively on Xbox 360 and PS3. Thankfully, this disaster never found its way on the PC. Still, and despite that, this fan remake promises to improve Sonic 2006 in every possible way.

We first reported on Project ’06 back in April 2019. So yeah, it’s at least cool witnessing ChaosX releasing new demos for it.

Speaking of Sonic fan games, you may also find cool a new 3D Sonic game that uses Unreal Engine 4, Sonic 2020. There is also Sonic 3D in 2D which is a free re-imagining of SEGA Genesis’ Sonic 3D Blast. Sonic Robo Blast 2 is another Sonic free fan game, as is Sonic 3 A.I.R.
